May 2006 - Matrix Makes Guest Appearance on NBC's The Apprentice
The May 1st episode of The Apprentice, was all about salon chain partner, Hair Cuttery, and its star retail partners in PPD: Matrix and Redken. Teams were asked to host the Grand Opening of a local Hair Cuttery salon. Biolage, Sleek.look, Curl.life and Amplify were visible throughout much of the segment, merchandised on-shelf, at styling stations and via signage in both locations. And, of course, the winning team was the one that focused on selling product!
Trump signaled the importance of the industry by pointing out to contestants that, “The haircare business is a $150 billion per year business”.
